Meet Chris

Chris is the Founder and CEO of Campfire and brings a rare perspective shaped on both sides of the media business. He started in the newsroom, learning how stories earn trust and attention, before moving inside some of the largest and most diversified media companies in advertising, including Sinclair, TEGNA, and Cox Media Group. Over 18 years, his experience has spanned a portfolio of brands including Hisense USA, Ball, Blue Harbor Fish Co. (a division of StarKist), Stonyfield Organic, Allagash Brewing Company, and many more. That path gives Chris an insider’s understanding of how to build media partnerships that serve clients, the people they’re trying to reach, and the publishers who make the ecosystem possible, with a focus on context, timing, and long-term value.

David Gogel - Campfire - Head of Strategy

Meet DAVID

David is the Head of Strategy at Campfire and brings a business-level lens to how media and marketing actually work in the real world. He began his career on the management consulting side at the Boston-based consultancy Pile and Company, before moving agency-side to work on international and national tourism and education accounts. That mix makes him a master at connecting what a brand is trying to achieve with audience and market research to shape media strategies that make sense and hold up under pressure. At Campfire, he’s known for challenging assumptions, asking the questions others skip, and turning complexity into clear direction teams can actually act on.

Kelly Gadsby - Campfire - Client Growth Director

Meet Kelly

Kelly is Campfire’s Client Growth Director and brings a sharp, relationship-driven approach to helping brands and Campfire’s agency partners grow with intention. Her experience spans both the buy and sell side of media, including roles at VideoAmp, Firefly, and as a National Audio and Video Investment Negotiator at RPA. That mix gives Kelly a clear-eyed point of view on how media decisions really get made and where value is often left on the table. At Campfire, she’s known for connecting strategy to relationships and turning smart conversations into partnerships that actually last.

Meet Pip

Pip is Campfire’s Managing Director and the steady hand behind how the work actually gets done when things get complicated. His background includes work at Skyword, where he supported content and marketing programs across teams and clients, building a strong foundation in workflow management, coordination, and execution. At Campfire, Pip oversees media operations and process, helping turn smart strategy into real-world momentum through clarity, accountability, and an instinct for keeping all the pieces moving in the same direction.

Aidan - Campfire - Senior Account Media Strategist

Meet Aidan

Aidan is a Senior Account Strategist and the architect of Campfire’s media infrastructure, responsible for building and managing the teams that handle technical delivery and ad operations. He previously worked at Cross Media, one of the nation’s largest independent media agencies, and at Fundamental Media, where he has overseen and been directly hands-on-keys with media budgets ranging from $1M to $100M. That experience shaped a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to media strategy, grounded in how platforms actually work and how accountability shows up in the real world. At Campfire, Aidan is known for turning insight into systems and making sure media performs the way it’s supposed to, not just the way it’s reported.

Benn Marine - Campfire - Director of Impact

Meet Benn

Benn serves as Campfire’s Director of Impact in an advisory capacity, helping keep the agency accountable to its commitment to people and planet beyond the day-to-day client work. His background includes national experience as a field director and organizer for human rights campaigns across the country, working directly with policy makers and communities to drive participation, advocacy, and systemic change. That experience informs how Benn guides Campfire’s impact work: practical, people-centered, and rooted in action. He’s known for grounding purpose in reality and making sure values show up in decisions, not just statements.
